The Jiwa takes its name from the Indonesian word for “soul”, offering a true soul-soothing retreat. The property works wonders in soothing and relaxing both mind, body and soul offering awe-inspiring ocean views, ultimate tranquillity, seclusion and endless hospitality from the staff. Perched on a hill in Northern part of Lombok, the estate commands fabulous views over to the ocean and far beyond to Gili islands. Within its walls, the property features an infinity pool for grown-ups and an adjoining kids’ pool plus a stand-alone spa pavilion for in-villa pampering.
The Jiwa is a splendid tropical retreat boasting magnificent views and spectacular natural surrounding hugging several living pavilions. In the main building nestle the spacious living room and four bedrooms, making it ideal for large families. Finished off with deep natural colours, decorated with Indonesian arts, the lounge room connects to the dining area featuring a large rustic-style dining table flanked by matching high-back seats.
Perched on the edge of the pool, rests alfresco dining area crowned with thatch roof adding to Indonesian design. The grounds also include two lounge pavilions and a separate spa bungalow. In the middle of the garden nestles the 10-meter long pool adjoined by the whirlpool, which also works as a kids’ pool.
The Jiwa houses five bedrooms, four of which include king-sized beds and are located under the same roof in the main building. Two rooms are located on either side of the living area. The fifth bedroom occupies the stand-alone garden bungalow and features a queen-sized bed. All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms.
The Jiwa is located in Tanjung village, on the northern coast of Lombok island. The property caters to nature lovers and boasts a superb secluded and tranquil position. Within a short drive, guests will find several high-end restaurants such as The Oberoi, The Lombok Lodge and the diner within Tugu Hotel. The fabulous Sire Beach is around 10 minutes by car from the retreat.
